About QR Code Generator
The QR Code Generator creates scannable QR codes for eight content types: URLs, Wi-Fi credentials, vCard contact cards, plain text, email addresses, phone numbers, SMS messages, and Google Maps locations. Choose your content type, fill in the details, customize the appearance, and download as a PNG or SVG - no account required.
To create a QR code: select your content type from the dropdown, enter the relevant information (for Wi-Fi, enter the network name, password, and encryption type; for vCard, enter your contact fields; for URL, paste your link), then customize the colors and size. Click Generate and download the result.
Customization options include foreground and background colors to match your brand identity, a logo upload for the center of the code, module size adjustment, and four error correction levels (L, M, Q, H). Higher error correction means the code still scans reliably even if part of it is obscured or damaged - essential if you are placing a logo over the center.
Download formats: SVG is the right choice for print materials since it scales to any size without pixelating. PNG is suitable for digital use, websites, and printing at a fixed known size. Download at a high resolution (1000×1000 or higher) if printing PNG.
Common uses: add a URL QR code to a business card or flyer; put a Wi-Fi QR code on a café counter so customers can connect without typing a password; add a vCard QR code to a printed business card so people can save your contact details with one scan; place a Google Maps QR code on event signage so attendees can navigate directly to a venue.
All generation happens in your browser. No images are uploaded to a server, and your QR code content is never transmitted or stored.
