This free time tracker for freelancers lets you log billable hours by client or project using either a live running timer or manual entry - no account, no software to install, and no data sent to any server. Start the timer when you begin work, stop it when you are done, and the entry is added to your timesheet log automatically with the duration calculated. Or skip the timer entirely and type the hours and minutes directly if you are logging retrospectively.
Each time entry can be labelled with a client name, project name, and a short description of the work. This makes your timesheet a complete record of where your working hours went - useful for billing clients accurately, justifying project costs, or simply understanding how you spend your time across different clients each week.
At the end of the week or billing cycle, export your timesheet as a CSV file for import into accounting software, or as a PDF formatted for professional client delivery. The CSV export integrates directly with the Invoice Generator on this site - it populates line items with your logged hours automatically, so you can go from timesheet to invoice without retyping anything. Totals by client are calculated automatically so you can see exactly how much billable time to invoice at a glance.
All timesheet data is saved to your browser's local storage, meaning it persists between sessions on the same device and browser without any login. Clearing browser data or switching devices will clear the log, so export your timesheet regularly if you need a permanent record.
